Movie Review #2 - Joker (2019)

In my 2nd ever movie review on this website, I decide to comeback with everyone's favorite villainous clown, Batman's soulmate, the Joker. Happy Halloween!

It’s not everyday that a movie based on a comic book super villain makes headlines for police shutting down screenings of it. "Joker" is a movie that shows how storytelling and character sympathy can have such a profound impact on people that it can lead to fears of real world violence.

But before we get into the movie...let's take it back a bit with some backstory...

11 Songs to Work Out to This Summer

Time to get that body right! (And no, this gif in No way is intended to promote Toy Story 4)

I had no idea what a "Summer Body" was, so naturally, I consulted Urban Dictionary.

Urban Dictionary defines a "Summer Body" as the following:

the f--ked up thing that society created and expect everybody to have each summer and if they don't, well then your suddenly are "fat, chubby, obese". tired of this sh-t and these high expectations. F--K SOCIETY AND EAT LOADS OF CHOCOLATE. And if people ask you why you eat chocolate when you are supposed to get the "summer body", eat them as well.

Now, I'm sure this isn't the most...objective definition of a summer body, but everyone wants to look their best, right?

My Top 10 Most Replayed Songs of 2018 (According to My iTunes)

"Because Repetition is the Father of Learning" - Lil Wayne

The Mere Exposure Effect

According to Science, the more you see or hear something, the more you like it.

This explains a lot of things...

like why the radio plays the same 3 songs over and over again. Or why people are comfortable listening to the same songs and same handful of artists.

Don't just take my words for it, check out these memes:

The Return... +What's To Come

Me, showing myself after my self-imposed exodus from my own website.
9 months.

It's been 9 months since I last attempted to post anything on here.

Why? I have no legitimate reason other than I was being lazy.

That ends this year.

What's to come?

Best of 2018.

Might be one post might be multiple, however, what I can promise, if only to myself.

Is one post per month

Even if it's a quick blurb that has no real value whatsoever. I need to learn how to commit professionally and this once a month thing is a good start.
